With extensive engineering expertise, our in house team can design, analyze and detail transmission towers and substation structures that deliver on-line safety and efficiency in accordance with international standards as per our customer’s requirement.

Survey

ICOMM is famous for providing the modern survey and tower spotting works globally. We use the latest versions of PLS-CADD software by which customers are given the most optimal Transmission Line route. Total stations and the satellite images are used for providing the most economical transmission line profile to the customers.

 

Transmission Tower Design and Analysis
  • Design of new transmission line towers as per client specifications for 11 kV to 800 kV
  • Design as per requirements of International standard like ASCE, NESC, ASTM, ACI, IEC, DIN-VDE and European and Indian standards
  • Checking safety of existing transmission line towers for shield wire/conductor replacement or for specific site loading conditions
  • Design of foundations for new towers as per soil conditions and strengthening proposal for existing tower foundations
  • Preparation of tower spotting and profile drawings based on field surveys
  • Preparation of stringing sag-tension charts
  • Software: PLS Tower, PLS Pole, PLS CADD, STADD-Pro 2007, iTowers

 

Transmission Tower Detailing
  • Development of detailed structural/Assembly drawings for new transmission line towers from 11 kV to 800 kV
  • Tower detailing as per requirements of International standards like ASCE, BS standards and accepted industry practices
  • Preparation of shop floor drawing for all tower members
  • Preparation of detailed Bill of Materials for towers
  • Software: BOCAD,I Tower and Autocad-2007
